Job Description

Parker Bark Company is a locally owned mulch and soil manufacturing plant that has been in business for over 43 years. We take pride in producing quality products while maintaining a strong focus on safety and keeping our equipment in good working condition. We are looking for an experienced Front End Wheel Loader Operator to join our manufacturing team. Experience Required
MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE OPERATING A FRONT END WHEEL LOADER.
Forklift, skid steer/Bobcat, or similar equipment experience does not qualify as front end wheel loader experience. This position includes operating a front end wheel loader and other heavy equipment to manufacture mulch and soil products, move materials, maintain product piles, and load tractor trailers. Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of front end wheel loader experience Basic mechanical knowledge is required; additional mechanical experience and knowledge is a strong plus Operators are expected to take care of and help maintain the equipment they operate Operators are expected to perform routine maintenance on their assigned machines, including greasing and oil changes as needed Complete daily equipment inspections and keep your machine clean and properly maintained Identify and report mechanical problems promptly Must be able to perform physical labor as needed Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be physically able to walk up and down mulch, soil, and material piles Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Must follow all company safety procedures Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work as part of a team Schedule Normal working hours are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available, and Saturdays are required during the Spring busy season.
