GPS Dozer Operator

In this energetic position, you will operate GPS-guided bulldozers to ensure precise grading, land clearing, and earthmoving tasks. Your expertise will help drive project efficiency, safety, and quality on busy construction sites. Responsibilities Operate GPS-enabled dozers with precision to perform grading, leveling, and earthmoving tasks according to project specifications Collaborate with project managers and survey teams to interpret plans and ensure accurate site development Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and paving machinery to maintain optimal performance Follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining a clean and organized work area on-site Assist with the setup and calibration of GPS systems for accurate machine operation Support other heavy equipment operations including horizontal drilling, tanker handling, and site preparation activities as needed Document daily work progress and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, and paving machinery Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and maintenance procedures Valid commercial driver's license with experience in operating various trucks including dump trucks and tankers Familiarity with GPS technology and its application in precision earthmoving operations Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and efficient workflow Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical specifications accurately Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is a plus but not required; relevant certifications are advantageous Zoladz Construction Co., Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing all applicants and employees the right to equal employment opportunities with regards to all aspects of the employment relationship.
