Heavy Equipment Operator / Track loader/Skid loader Operator Roll Enterprises, Inc Lavista, NE Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits 401(k) matching Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Driver's License Construction industry experience Landscaping Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Roll Enterprise is a local construction company looking for an experienced full-time Heavy Equipment Operator / Track loader/Skid loader Operator with at least two years of construction experience. Residential grading and backfilling experience a plus Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate CAT Trackloaders, Skidloaders and related heavy equipment for residential construction, maintenance, and grading projects. This position is responsible for producing safe, accurate, and finished surfaces while supporting daily field operations. Duties and Responsibilities Operate a trackloader/skidloader to perform rough and fine grading of residential and commercial yards, roads, shoulders, slopes, ditches, and work areas. Spread, level, and finish grade dirt, gravel, rock, or other materials to required specifications. Perform daily pre-trip inspections, lubrication, and basic maintenance checks. Read grade stakes, follow plans, and work with supervisors and crew members to complete projects efficiently. Identify equipment issues, report hazards, and help maintain a safe job site. Assist with other heavy equipment or labor tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience operating a trackloader, skidloader, motor grader or similar heavy equipment preferred. Knowledge of grading techniques, residential construction, and equipment safety practices. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work. Valid driver's license required; Class A CDL highly encouraged. High school diploma or GED preferred. Preferred Experience 3 to 5 years of heavy equipment or grading experience. Familiarity with site preparation, excavation for new construction, proper drainage and final grading for concrete, sod, etc. Ability to communicate clearly and work well as part of a team. Work Conditions Full-time, on-site field position. May involve seasonal demands, overtime, and long periods of operation in outdoor conditions. May require lifting heavy materials and operating equipment for extended periods.
