Overview Join the Peitzmeier crew as a Dozer Operator and help shape safe, well-prepared job sites. You'll operate a dozer for grading and excavation work, coordinate with the crew on utility work, and help keep equipment ready for the next task. This hands-on role suits someone who brings construction site experience, sound judgment, and a strong focus on safety. Responsibilities Operate a dozer to perform construction grading, excavation, and site preparation. Follow equipment safety procedures, applicable safety regulations, and federal construction safety regulations. Inspect, clean, and perform routine equipment maintenance; report mechanical issues promptly. Support site operations with loader operation, water truck use, or other heavy equipment as assigned.

Skills Essential:

Heavy equipment operation and construction experience, including construction site experience; ability to follow safety procedures and regulations.

Essential:

Mechanical knowledge and equipment maintenance skills, including construction machinery maintenance.

Preferred:

Utility locating and construction utility work experience.

Preferred:

Loader operation, excavator operation, excavation.
