A reputable underground utility construction company is hiring a Front End Loader Operator to support underground utility installation projects. You will be responsible for moving materials, assisting with pipe installation activities, and performing precise backfilling and grading work while operating heavy equipment. This position offers consistent hours, the opportunity to work on essential infrastructure projects, and the chance to grow your heavy equipment operating skills.
- Responsibilities:
- Operate a front end loader safely and efficiently on underground utility construction sites.
- Move and load materials including rock, dirt, and pipe to support daily construction activities.
- Perform accurate backfilling around underground piping according to project specifications.
- Execute back dragging to achieve proper grading and surface finish after pipe installation.
- Assist with underground utility installation by positioning materials and supporting pipe laying operations.
- Operate additional equipment such as backhoes and excavators as needed.
- Essential Skills:
- 3+ years of front end loader experience, specifically on pipe and underground utility projects.
- Proven ability to perform backfilling around underground piping to specification.
- Experience with back dragging and final grading operations.
- Strong heavy equipment operating skills, including wheel loaders and front end loaders.
- Experience working on underground utility and underground piping projects.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience operating backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
- Experience in underground construction and utility installation.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operating best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and support various phases of underground utility work.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $25.00
