Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy equipment to efficiently execute excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. You must be capable of running site projects from the seat. Must be able to read Civil Plans. Must have 10 years experience in the capacity of a supervisor. Valid Drivers License required and MA Hoisting License preferred. Duties Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and water trucks to perform excavation, grading, trenching, site clearing activities, and pipe installation Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Follow detailed project plans and specifications to accurately execute excavation tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Coordinate with team members and site supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines efficiently. Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety compliance throughout each shift. Qualifications Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Must have 10 Years experience in the capcity of a supervisor. Mechanical knowledge related to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other construction machinery. Valid driver's license Required Familiarity with construction site safety practices and regulations. Must be able to read Civil Plans Ma Hoisting License Preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
