The operator will work closely with a partner to keep the machine running efficiently, maintain product quality, and meet daily production goals. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, works well with others, and can maintain a steady pace in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate tea bag production machines safely and efficiently with a partner Work as part of a two-person team to monitor and maintain machine operation Load and replenish materials as needed during production Monitor machines for proper operation and make basic adjustments when necessary Inspect tea bags and finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects Maintain consistent production standards and meet daily production goals Communicate with your partner and supervisor regarding machine performance, materials, and production issues Identify and report equipment problems or quality concerns promptly Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe Perform routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance as required Follow production procedures, work instructions, and food safety requirements Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines Perform other production duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation preferred Experience operating production machinery is a plus Ability to work effectively with a partner and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment Basic math skills required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Willingness to learn machine operation and production procedures Physical Requirements Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Ability to stand and walk throughout the work shift Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements Ability to work around production machinery safely Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or order pickers preferred Must follow OSHA and all workplace safety guidelines at all times Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Medical benefits Paid vacation Paid sick time Paid holidays
