Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating various types of heavy machinery. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment runs smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Duties Operate heavy machinery including loaders, graders, bulldozers, backhoes, and water trucks to perform various construction tasks. Build and maintain structures by digging, paving, and grading as required by project specifications. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and safely. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Experience Proven experience in operating heavy machinery such as loaders, graders, bulldozers, backhoes, and water trucks is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Commercial driving experience is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for specific machinery operation may be beneficial.
