Job Summary:
This role involves reporting directly to the site site supervisor. Responsibilities include communication of material requirements and maintenance needs. The position requires loading materials onto haul trucks, maintaining stockpiles and road areas, assisting with greasing and equipment maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
  • Load materials onto haul trucks and maintain stockpiles and road areas.
  • Assist in greasing and maintaining plant and equipment.
  • Report any accidents or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
  • Inform the supervisor of necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
  • This is a seasonal position with overtime required during peak seasons.
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of mobile equipment and work areas.
  • Adhere to company policies, as well as
OSHA/MSHA
regulations, ensuring safe working procedures and environments.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Prior experience with front-end loaders.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required, despite the daytime shift nature.
  • Ability to efficiently follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Successful completion of a physical exam, drug screen, and background check before employment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times.
  • Valid driver's license.
Education/Experience:
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation.

  • Union rate of $23.28-$25.28 per hour.
