Heavy Equipment OperatorStonewood Builders LLC Location:
East Rochester, NY Stonewood Builders LLC is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual with strong operating skills and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate skid steers, excavators, and other construction equipment. Perform site preparation, grading, excavation, demolition, and material handling. Read and interpret site plans and grade stakes. Load, unload, and transport materials as needed. Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Work alongside crew members to complete projects on schedule. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating both skid steers and excavators . Ability to perform precise grading and excavation work. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor when necessary.
