Heavy Equipment Operator

Lindsey Aggregates is currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to bail raw material. We excavate with very large excavators and we need someone with enough experience to accomplish the tasks that we have.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience required.
• Professional references (including phone numbers) must be provided and will be verified.
• Demonstrated experience must be accurate.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Daily equipment inspection and basic maintenance skills.
• Ability to work in varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Strong situational awareness and communication skills (especially with coworkers and truck drivers).
• Physical ability to climb in/out of equipment and work long shifts.
• Experience with production digging, specifically loading trucks and stockpiling material.
• Ability to safely and efficiently bail material from a pond and manage consistent material flow to trucks or stockpile.
• Strong understanding of safe loading practices and truck positioning.
• Knowledge of soil/material handling and awareness of changing ground conditions (wet/unstable terrain).
• Must be a reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including long hours as needed.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
