Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic excavation team as an Excavation Team Member and be at the forefront of construction and site development projects! In this energetic role, you will operate heavy machinery, assist with excavation tasks, and support overall site operations to ensure efficient and safe project progress. Your mechanical aptitude, construction experience, and enthusiasm will contribute to building infrastructure that shapes communities. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, dump trucks, and other earth moving machinery to perform excavation and earth-moving tasks. Assist with all aspects of grading, trenching, pipe installation, compaction, material handling, etc. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained. Collaborate with team members to execute site preparation, grading, trenching, and material movement efficiently. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues. Support the setup of construction sites by preparing materials and assisting with equipment maintenance. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks and report any issues or hazards promptly. Experience Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or water trucks is highly preferred. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy machinery and construction tools. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety practices and operational procedures. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus for operating dump trucks or water trucks on-site. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards. Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within a busy construction environment.
