Job Description

Duties Operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes and dump trucks with precision and safety. Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition. Follow project plans and specifications to execute earthmoving, grading,and site preparation tasks effectively. Coordinate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining safety protocols on-site. Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Support site safety by adhering to all safety guidelines and reporting hazards promptly. Document work progress and report any operational concerns or incidents to supervisors. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators , dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery systems and routine maintenance procedures. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with excavation, grading, paving, and site development processes. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles such as dump trucks preferred. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in construction environments.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
