Job Description
Ideal Candidates must have hands on experience digging residential basements and/or sanitary sewer. Operators without this experience will not be considered. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring that excavation tasks are completed safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities Dig and prep residential basements and foundations Operate full-size excavator safely and efficiently Read grade stakes and follow site plans Perform daily equipment inspections Maintain a clean and safe job site Requirements Minimum 3+ experience digging residential basements and/or sanitary sewer experience required Experience operating a full-size excavator Strong understanding of job site safety Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery, including Caterpillar models. Valid Class A commercial driving license is required Ability to work independently Reliable transportation Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with construction work
