This role is critical for ensuring the efficient handling and transportation of goods by operating various heavy equipment, primarily focusing on shipping containers and logistics at our depot facilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating cranes, forklifts, and other container handling equipment, contributing significantly to our commitment to excellence in service and operations. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and reach stackers to move, stack, and unstack shipping containers. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure machinery is in good working order. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent incidents and accidents. Collaborate with the logistics team to plan and execute container movements efficiently. Report any functional or mechanical issues to supervisory staff promptly. Manage the documentation of operations, including logs of tasks performed and issues encountered. Required Skills Proven ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
