Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roller Operator to join our paving team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty asphalt rollers on various paving sites. Your expertise will help ensure the stability and durability of residential and commercial paving projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of paving projects while utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills. Responsibilities Operate vibratory rollers, compaction equipment, and other heavy machinery with precision to meet project specifications. Conduct routine inspections of roller to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained. Assist with the setup of construction sites by preparing surfaces for paving, grading, or foundation work. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a steady workflow on-site. Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently. Perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting on machinery as needed to minimize downtime. Qualifications Roller operations experience. Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining rollers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of safety standards specific to roller operation in construction environments.
