Job Description

The Role Charles H. Hamilton Company, a total site development contractor for over 62 years, is seeking an experienced GPS finish dozer operator to join our team . We specialize in residential site development including mass excavation, installation of underground utilities, grading, & road construction. This role requires prior grading experience and the ability, patience, and aptitude to perform finish work. Also, a solid understanding of GPS systems is a must. Duties Operate finish dozers equipped with GPS technology for precision grading applications Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and GPS models Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks accurately and efficiently Fine grade for curb & asphalt installation Grading slopes, swales, ponds, building pads, etc. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance such as cleaning, greasing, and checking fluids Required Skills 3+ years of dozer operating in site development or heavy civil work Hands on experience with GPS machine control systems. Trimble preferred Strong understanding of grading, elevations, & site layout High attention to detail & pride in producing quality work Valid drivers license and dependable transportation We offer top pay, competitive benefits, and very good growth potential within the company.
