Able to demonstrate safe operation of assigned equipment. Operator is expected to use his/her experience and judgement to make decisions considering safety and efficiency. Ensure all safety requirements and codes are implemented and met by all team members Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed Understand means and methods to safely perform assigned tasks Understand and ensure safety of team members Monitor and track field data as requested by superintendent Maintain paperwork daily Operate heavy equipment includes running, maneuvering, navigating, and driving Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life in accordance to company policies and procedures Perform daily pre-inspections: identify problems or defects that need corrected, report problems or defects immediately Heavy Equipment includes (but not limited too): Excavator, Dozer, Off Road Truck, Motor Grader, Backhoe, Skid Steer, Roller, Reclaimer, etc.
