Our projects range from house pads and utilities to large-scale commercial site prep. We take pride in quality work, reliable crews, and a strong work ethic. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who can also lead a crew on residential and commercial excavation projects. This person must be confident running equipment, reading plans, managing people, and keeping projects on schedule and on grade. Responsibilities Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment Lead and manage a small crew on job sites Read and interpret blueprints, grades, and site plans Perform site prep, grading, trenching, utilities, pads, and drainage work Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards Maintain a safe, organized job site Communicate with project managers, builders, and inspectors Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance Train and mentor crew members as needed ⸻ Requirements 5+ years of excavation and heavy equipment operating experience Proven experience leading a crew on residential and/or commercial sites Ability to read grade stakes, lasers, and site plans Strong knowledge of site prep, utilities, and grading Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and leadership mindset Ability to work in all weather conditions Must be dependable and punctual ⸻ What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Steady, year-round work Supportive team environment Opportunity for advancement Well-maintained equipment
