Medford, OKPRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
Operates equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures.SUMMARY OF EXPECTED OUTCOMES
- High quality, professional work product performed with initiative, productivity, a positive attitude and behavior
- Performance should meet or exceed the established standards, goals, and accountabilities of the position
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: 1. Blade 2. Dozer 3. Loader 4. Scraper 5. Forklift/Telehandler 6. Crane 7. Bobcat/Skid-steer 8. Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts 9. Roller
- Follows prescribed safety regulations
- Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area
- Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning
- Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction
- Follows work plans and pre-task cards
- Other duties and responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts

- Ability to work independently
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Equipment certifications as required
- A minimum of one year of related experience
- Must possess valid driver's license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
