Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in construction projects that build the future! In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate site development, material handling, and infrastructure improvements. Your expertise will ensure safety, efficiency, and precision on every project. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to execute construction tasks efficiently and safely Manage the operation of specialized machinery including concrete mixers, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker vehicles Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Assist with site preparation by grading, trenching, loading materials, and moving earth or debris as needed Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines while adhering to safety protocols Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites by positioning machinery and ensuring proper placement of materials Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation hours, inspections, and any incidents or repairs Skills Proven experience operating construction site machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other heavy equipment Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on machinery Valid driver's license with experience driving heavy trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker vehicles Familiarity with construction processes and safety procedures on active sites Ability to read technical manuals and operate equipment like Caterpillar machinery with precision Knowledge of farm machinery operation is a plus for versatile equipment handling Excellent communication skills for teamwork and safety coordination Join us in building something great! Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
