H&J Construction, Inc. is a family-owned underground utility contractor that has proudly served Lane County and the surrounding communities since 1973. For more than 50 years, we've built a reputation of delivering high quality underground infrastructure projects for municipal, commercial, and private clients throughout the Willamette Valley. We are currently seeking high quality candidates for an excavator operator position. Responsibilities of the
Excavator Operator Include:
Efficiently and accurately digging trenches for the installation of sewer and water mainlines and services Lifting and setting pipe Lifting and setting trench boxes Bulk excavation and truck loading Completing all tasks safely Communicating with the foreman and pipe layer
Qualifications:
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening 2 years of experience operating excavators with an operating weight of 10,000 lbs or greater Experience with trench boxes and shoring systems preferred Experience installing sanitary sewer, water mains, and storm lines preferred
