Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Civil Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties Operate and monitor machinery and equipment during production processes. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety practices. Perform labor duties and physical tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. Previous experience (5+ years) in an operator role or similar position is required. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary. Familiarity with safety regulations in an industrial setting is advantageous.
