What You'll Be Doing Operate various types of heavy equipment including loaders, haul trucks, drillers and scalers Perform general labor tasks to support plant and quarry operations Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities Monitor material flow and ensure safe, efficient production Adapt to changing tasks and priorities throughout the workday What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks across quarry operations Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $27.33 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
