Job Description

Equipment Operator - Hanover, PA Staiman Recycling Corporation is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our Hanover team. This position is responsible for operating a material handler and other equipment to support daily recycling operations. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating heavy equipment, and being part of a hardworking team, we encourage you to apply.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate a material handler and other heavy equipment as assigned. Load and unload trucks efficiently. Move, sort, and organize recyclable materials throughout the yard. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Perform basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping on equipment. Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures. Work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain efficient yard operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating heavy equipment preferred. Experience with material handlers, excavators, loaders, or similar equipment is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues. Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work in an outdoor environment in varying weather conditions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
