Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and take charge of operating a variety of construction machinery to bring projects to life! This energetic role is perfect for skilled operators who thrive in fast-paced environments, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on every job site. You'll be instrumental in moving materials, preparing sites, and working with others on the crew to complete the job. Also being able to follow all safe digging procedures set by the company and natural gas companies. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and other machinery safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites. Manage trucks including dump trucks to transport materials and support site operations. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues. Maintain accurate records of equipment operation hours, maintenance logs, and safety checks. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, and similar machinery. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment. Valid driver's license with experience driving various trucks including dump trucks. Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation in construction environments and utility work. Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is a plus.
