Join our dynamic team as a Light Duty Tow Truck Driver, where you will play a vital role in providing prompt and professional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction while maintaining high standards of vehicle handling and safety protocols. Responsibilities Safely operate light-duty tow trucks equipped with flatbeds or other towing mechanisms to assist stranded or disabled vehicles Load, secure, and unload vehicles following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and minor automotive repairs when necessary to facilitate vehicle recovery or move vehicles for repairs Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including details of the vehicle, location, and services provided Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely assistance Manage conflict situations professionally while providing exceptional customer service during stressful roadside incidents Keep inside of truck clean at all times Skills Proven experience with driving tow trucks or flatbeds Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics and basic repairs Familiarity with vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and automotive repair techniques Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and load & unload procedures for safe transportation Excellent conflict management skills paired with outstanding customer service abilities Valid driver's license with clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions required
