Based in Tinton Falls, NJ, this role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and safe operation of construction machinery on various sites throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is committed to high standards of workmanship and safety. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, skid steers, front-end loaders, and hydraulic excavators Read, interpret, and execute tasks according to project plans and blueprints Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate machinery use and implement project schedules Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents Participate in job site briefings and safety meetings Conduct ground preparation, excavation, and smooth operations as dictated by project needs Required Skills Proficiency in operating construction machinery Strong understanding of engineering and construction principles Ability to work cooperatively in a team and communicate effectively Physical stamina and dexterity Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
