00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Travel Percentage Road Warrior Category Construction Description Set up and inspect equipment prior to operation. Efficiently operate equipment to remove vegetation (trees and shrubs) in compliance with Metzler Forest Products, LLC standards, safety policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean work environment. Move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery such as power shovels, stripping shovels, scraper loaders or backhoes. Receive written or oral instructions regarding material movement or excavation. Become familiar with digging plans, machine capabilities and limitations and with efficient and safe digging procedures in any given application. Observe hand signals and other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications. Equipment Maintenance
