Job Description
ZA Construction is looking for a dedicated Grapple operator to join our team. CDL Class A is
REQUIRED
. Salary is commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate would have railroad construction experience, but all are invited to apply. Must be able to work Monday - Friday (full-time and some overtime) and be available to work on weekends/holidays when necessary. Must be able to travel out of state (transportation provided). Salary is commensurate with experience. Duties/Responsibilities- Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators safely. Must be located within 60 minute drive of Mendenhall, MS for calls. Demonstrate experienced operation and equipment knowledge. Maintains proper equipment appearance and cleanliness. Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from job sites
- Safely drive, operate, and maintain GRAPPLE truck and required vehicles and equipment.
- Must be able work in harsh weather conditions as well as rough terrain. Knows and adheres to all safety guidelines of heavy machinery operation. Routine pre-trip inspection of equipment. Performs routine maintenance and repairs
- Responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of all equipment on site.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Must be highly dependable and available for emergency calls.
- Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities. Must be authorized for employment in the USA. Applicants will be required to submit a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent mechanical skills.
