Duties Operate heavy construction equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to perform earthmoving, material handling, and site preparation tasks. Safely operate specialized machinery such as concrete mixers, water trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery as needed for various project requirements. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while using hand tools and hydraulic systems. Handle materials efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks; report any issues promptly for repairs or adjustments. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment needs for different phases of construction projects and ensure timely completion. Qualifications Proven experience operating construction machinery such as bulldozers (dozers), loaders (front loaders), backhoes, excavators (including Caterpillar models), cranes (including tower cranes), and other heavy equipment. Valid commercial driver's license with experience driving trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on various types of construction equipment. Familiarity with hydraulics systems, hand tools, and safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation. Construction site experience demonstrating knowledge of occupational safety regulations and PPE use. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a proactive approach to safety and efficiency.
