Job Title:

Heavy Duty Wrecker Operator Fleet Masters Towing & Recovery is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Wrecker Operator to join our team on an on-call basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in heavy-duty towing, specifically with semi-trucks and large trailers.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy-duty wreckers to tow a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to Freightliners, Volvos, and Macks. Safely tow and recover 53-foot dry vans, reefers, containers, and other large trailers. Respond to on-call towing and recovery needs efficiently and professionally. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on towing equipment. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy-duty wrecker operator. Valid CDL with a clean driving record. Experience towing semi-trucks, Freightliners, Volvos, Macks, and large trailers such as 53-foot dry vans, reefers, and containers. Strong knowledge of towing and recovery techniques. Ability to work on-call as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
