Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Description :
The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy equipment to support aggregate production and site operations. This role requires adherence to all safety protocols, effective communication with team members, and the ability to perform assigned tasks to meet production goals. Operators are expected to perform equipment inspections, maintain equipment cleanliness, and contribute to the overall organization and efficiency of the work site. Operators at higher levels demonstrate increased skill proficiency, leadership, and mentoring of junior team members.
Hours :
Monday
  • Friday 6:00 a.m.
  • 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 6:00 a.m.
  • 12:00 p.
m., as needed.
Reporting:
Territory Manager Requisites:
At least 18 years of age Hydraulic License required Entry-level to 1+ years prior experience operating heavy equipment (CAT 966 or similar preferred) Hammer experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent vision or corrective lenses Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Basic understanding of site safety practices Ability to provide and follow direction Willingness to work extended hours, as required
Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned heavy equipment under supervision
  • Load and offload rocks, debris, and materials safely
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform pre-use inspections
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers and truck drivers
  • Report equipment issues or safety hazards to Plant Foreman
  • Participate in daily site cleanup and organization
  • Assist higher-level operators as directed
Pay:
$30.35
  • $38.
72 per hour
