Description We are currently hiring several Heavy Equipment Operators for a variety of different civil site work locations in the Charleston area. We are in need of Entry to Mid-Level Operators up to Finish Grade Operators. We will also be looking for experienced Foreman and Superintendents. The candidates must be willing to get off the equipment when needed and help with manual labor tasks.
For example:
No operators will ever only be expected to operate equipment all day long. They must be willing to help out on other areas of the project. I.E. manual labor, shoveling, trench work, loading and unloading supplies and equipment. Candidates must be reliable, on time, and have a great attitude around becoming part of the crew and eventually becoming part of the company. ALL candidates need to be willing to submit to a drug test. Skills & Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience with Heavy Equipment (Dozers, Excavators, Track Hoe, Back Hoe, Graders) Fine grading experience is highly preferred GPS experience preferred Flexible availability to include overtime and possible weekends Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.
