Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking skilled and reliable Equipment Operators to join our grading and hauling teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery and equipment safely and efficiently on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. The Equipment Operator will play a vital role in material handling, site preparation, and supporting overall grading and construction activities. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Handle materials using appropriate material handling equipment efficiently and safely. Assist in site preparation, grading, loading/unloading materials, and other construction-related tasks as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining a safe work environment. Requirements Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes and excavators. Clearing and grading site experience is highly preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving is desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and hydraulics systems. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to work in various weather conditions for extended periods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
