Equipment Operator

Job Overview Black Construction is seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator with at least 5 years experience to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on site. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other construction machinery to perform tasks including grading, lifting, digging, and material handling. Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance checks. Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with site preparation, material transport, and debris removal to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment status and project progress. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any issues or repairs needed promptly. Requirements Experience operating construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery in a construction environment. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and operational standards. Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions accurately. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.

From $18.00 per hour
