Job Description
We are now hiring a CDL A/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Irmo, SC . We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL A with Heavy Equipment Operation experience to join our construction team. This role involves driving lowboy trailers to and from job sites with excavators, skid steers, and loaders as cargo, then operating these machines in the field. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments. Duties Load and unload machinery onto the trailers Transport equipment to and from job sites Conduct routine inspections of trailers and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during operation. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL A) with a clean driving record and proven experience driving lowboys Experience in heavy equipment operation (skid steers, loaders, excavators) Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Construction site experience demonstrating knowledge of safety standards and operational best practices.
