LCI-Lineberger Construction Inc. , located in Lancaster, SC , is hiring Heavy Highway and Civil Construction Operators for projects across South Carolina. We are looking for experienced, dependable operators who understand safety, communication, and production and who can operate equipment efficiently to support grading, paving, site development, utility, and roadway work. Applicants should have experience operating heavy equipment used in heavy highway and civil construction, such as excavators, dozers, loaders, motor graders, rollers, skid steers, backhoes, asphalt equipment, or similar machinery. Candidates must be comfortable working around traffic control, underground utilities, uneven terrain, and changing weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety, equipment care, and crew coordination.

What We Need:

Equipment Operating Experience:

Must have experience safely operating one or more types of heavy equipment used in heavy highway or civil construction.

Safety First Mindset:

Must follow jobsite safety rules, traffic control measures, utility protection requirements, and company procedures at all times.

Jobsite Awareness:

Able to work safely around other equipment, crews, live traffic, grade stakes, utilities, and changing site conditions.

Equipment Inspection and Care:

Must perform daily walk-arounds, identify basic maintenance or safety concerns, and communicate issues promptly.

Production and Precision:

Able to operate equipment efficiently while maintaining grade, supporting crew goals, and protecting finished work.

Dependability:

Show up on time, ready to work, and support the crew with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude. Physical /

Must be able to work long hours as needed, including early mornings, and handle outdoor jobsite conditions in all seasons.
