Job Description

Pay Range:
Depends on experience and skill level.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate various types of heavy equipment, especially excavators but also dozer, tractors, loaders, trucks, some heavy haul.
  • Use equipment to perform tasks such as digging, building, bulldozing, and transporting materials.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.
Skills:
  • Proficient in operating excavators while digging on grade and understanding grade and slope.
  • Some mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise operation of equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during operation.
Note:
Prior experience operating heavy equipment is required for this position. This position is seasonal/temporary but could possibly turn into a full time position.
