Today Job Description Dozer Operator (Mass Grading) 605 Companies is looking for an experienced Bulldozer Operator to join our mass grading construction team in Sioux Falls, SD. Essential Tasks Operate some or all of the following: bulldozer Operate machinery to cut grades and slopes. Responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment.

This includes:

performing routine maintenance including minor servicing, maintenance and cleaning of the equipment. Responsible for alerting the mechanic of any significant problems. Manage stockpiles including sand and other aggregates. Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members. Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects. Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability. Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work. Repair and maintain equipment, making emergency adjustments or assisting with major repairs as necessary. Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met. Keep records of material or equipment usage or problems encountered. Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other job positions for job completion as requested. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of Equipment Operator experience. Must demonstrate driving ability, excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards. Effective communication with other operators, truck drivers, and the general public is critical.
