Are you experienced operating equipment and looking for additional income during the winter months? We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with the right experience to join our snow removal team on a seasonal/PRN basis. This position is a great fit for someone who already has a job and wants flexible, additional work—or someone who experiences a winter layoff and is looking to stay busy throughout the season. Position Responsibilities Depending on experience and the needs of each snow or ice event, responsibilities may include: Operating four-wheelers for snow removal Shoveling sidewalks, entrances, and other designated areas Operating snowblowers Assisting with ice management and deicing Potential opportunities to operate snowplows Potential opportunities to operate skid loaders and other snow removal equipment Working safely and efficiently as part of a team during snow and ice events Schedule This is a seasonal, PRN/on-call position based around winter weather events. We work with your existing work schedule whenever possible Pick up additional hours during snow and ice events If you are laid off or have reduced hours during the winter, there may be opportunities to work every storm, snow event, and ice event Hours will vary depending on weather conditions Early mornings, evenings, overnight, and weekends are required to provide snow removal to our commercial clients Pay & Benefits $28-$35 per hour, depending on experience and equipment capabilities Excellent opportunity for additional seasonal income No cap on overtime Flexible scheduling based on your availability Opportunity for additional equipment operating experience Qualifications Previous snow removal, landscaping, construction, or equipment operating experience preferred but not required Experience operating skid loaders, snowplows, four-wheelers, or other equipment is a plus Must be dependable and available to respond during scheduled weather events Ability to work outdoors in cold and winter conditions Ability to shovel and perform physical labor as needed Valid driver's license preferred If you're looking to earn extra money this winter, stay active during a seasonal layoff, or put your equipment experience to work, we'd love to hear from you!
