Job Description
Dwayne Noe Construction LLC is a locally owned grading company serving Ashland City and Franklin, TN. We need skilled, safety-focused Dozer Operators for full-time or part-time work on grading, site preparation, and land clearing projects across Middle Tennessee. You're home every night. We run well-maintained equipment, pay competitive wages, and treat our crew right. If you know how to run a machine and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Safely operate a dozer as your primary machine, with secondary work on other grading equipment as assigned (excavators/trackhoes, skid loaders)
- Perform rough and finish grading to proper grade, slope, and elevation
- Handle site prep: clearing, grubbing, excavating, backfilling, and compacting
- Load and move materials around job sites, coordinating with drivers and supervisors
- Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and layout instructions
- Run daily pre
- and post-operation inspections (fluids, undercarriage, tracks, attachments); report issues right away
- Operate safely around personnel, underground utilities, and structures
- Keep equipment clean and in good working order
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Hands-on experience operating one or more: dozer, excavator/trackhoe, or skid loader
- Able to safely operate on active grading and construction sites
- Strong awareness of site safety, grade work, and ground conditions
- Able to pass a background check
- Willing to work early morning starts (typical 6:00-6:30 AM)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Middle Tennessee Preferred (not required):
- 1+ years of heavy equipment operation in grading, site work, or land clearing
- Experience reading grade stakes and site plans
- Familiarity with Middle Tennessee soil conditions, terrain, and job site protocols
- Experience on multiple machine types (multi-skilled operators are a plus)
PAY & BENEFITS
- $20.00 and up per hour, based on experience and equipment operated
- Overtime at 1.5x over 40 hours/week
