Job Description
Dwayne Noe Construction LLC is a locally owned grading company serving Ashland City and Franklin, TN. We're looking for versatile, safety-focused machine operators who can run any of our equipment
- dozers, excavators (trackhoes), skid steers
- and haul materials with our dump trucks as needed. Whether you specialize in one machine or run them all, we want to hear from you. You're home every night. The more machines you can run, the more valuable you are to us
- and the more we'll pay.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Safely operate any combination of our equipment: dozers, excavators/trackhoes, and skid steers
- Haul rock, gravel, sand, and fill dirt with company dump trucks as needed
- Perform rough and finish grading to proper grade, slope, and elevation
- Handle site prep: clearing, grubbing, excavating, backfilling, and compacting
- Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and layout instructions
- Run daily pre
- and post-operation inspections; report issues right away
- Operate safely around personnel, utilities, and structures
- Keep equipment clean and in good working order
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Hands-on experience operating one or more: dozer, excavator/trackhoe, or skid loader
- Able to safely operate on active grading and construction sites
- Strong awareness of site safety, grade work, and ground conditions
- Able to pass a background check
- Willing to work early morning starts (typical 6:00-6:30 AM)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Middle Tennessee Preferred (not required):
- Ability to run multiple machine types
- multi-skilled operators are our top priority and earn top pay
- Valid Class A or B CDL for dump truck work (a strong plus, not required)
- 1+ years of heavy equipment operation in grading, site work, or land clearing
- Experience reading grade stakes and site plans
PAY & BENEFITS
- $20.00 and up per hour, based on experience and number of machines you can run
- Overtime at 1.5x over 40 hours/week
