In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision at every stage. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality results on time while maintaining a safe work environment. Duties Operate construction machinery including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to move materials and prepare sites for development Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment such as hydraulic systems, mechanical parts, and safety features to ensure optimal operation Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment like front loaders, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, and site leveling using heavy machinery like dozers and loaders Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment including Caterpillar machinery and other construction machinery to identify potential issues before use Use hand tools and perform minor repairs or adjustments on equipment as needed to minimize downtime during projects Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, cranes, backhoes, and dump trucks in a construction setting Strong knowledge of hydraulics, construction machinery maintenance, and safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and operating various types of trucks including front loader trucks and water trucks Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Familiarity with occupational safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on construction sites Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team Construction site experience combined with knowledge of crane operation, concrete mixers, farm machinery, tankers, and other specialized equipment is highly desirable Join us in building something great!
