Position Summary:
Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks or railcars: Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.

Operate equipment in accordance with O&M manualCheck material (incoming and outgoing) for quality and conformityTake material to designated storage area safelyLoad material onto lines and trailers safelyKeep material stacked neatly and safelyMust keep up with general housekeepingCheck oil and fluids dailyPerform inspections on equipment dailyFollow all company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct.

Follow all company safety guidelines.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
High school education or equivalent (additional experience may be substituted for education)Minimum of six (6) months experience operating machinery Professional Attitude & conductMulti-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills are needed.

High degree of safety awareness and safety disciplineDisplay a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.

Willing to travel and work away from home when and if required.

Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by PRATT Safety and OSHA.Be at least age 18 years of age due to nature of working environment.

You will be expected to be flexible to the needs of our business, as we continually strive to meet and exceed the needs of our customers.
