Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support building projects, site development, and infrastructure improvements. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and equipment operation skills to make a tangible impact on community development. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators and other machinery to perform grading, digging, lifting, and material transportation tasks Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance; perform basic maintenance as needed Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing land, leveling surfaces, and setting up construction zones Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently across multiple project phases Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance logs Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation Mechanical knowledge related to the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and other heavy-duty brands Valid commercial driver's license Hands-on experience operating construction machinery like dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators and farm machinery Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relevant to construction sites and heavy equipment operation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment Join us in building the future!
