Duties Operate a wide range of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery to perform tasks such as grading, digging, lifting, and material transport Safely maneuver equipment like front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery across construction sites Assist with concrete mixing operations and support foundation work by managing concrete mixers effectively Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained Collaborate with site supervisors to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and regulations Load and unload materials using appropriate machinery while ensuring proper placement for construction activities Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational reports for project documentation Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active construction sites Strong mechanical knowledge of machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and other major brands Familiarity with construction site safety practices and procedures Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, and tanker vehicles Hands-on experience with various types of construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm machinery Knowledge of site-specific safety regulations and ability to perform routine maintenance checks on equipment Prior experience working with concrete mixers or supporting concrete-related tasks is a plus This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate essential machinery that keeps large-scale projects moving forward.
