This position requires a skilled individual who can manage equipment such as loaders, backhoes, and excavators while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the smooth flow of materials on site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and mechanical knowledge, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Duties Operate heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to move materials efficiently on construction sites. Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition. Load and unload materials such as concrete, soil, and aggregates using various types of machinery including concrete mixers and front loader trucks. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating equipment to minimize risks on site. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues to supervisors. Assist in training new operators on safe equipment operation practices. Skills Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on loaders, dozers, backhoes, excavators, and cranes. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and experience operating water trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and tankers. Previous construction site experience is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills. Knowledge of farm machinery operation is a plus. Commitment to adhering to safety standards and practices at all times. This position is essential for maintaining productivity on construction sites while ensuring the safety of all personnel involved.
