60+ Hours Per Week (Overtime Available) Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Telescopic Handler Operator with crane operation and forklift experience for a long-term industrial construction project in Austin, TX. This position is ideal for safety-focused operators with experience moving heavy materials, supporting construction crews, and working in fast-paced industrial environments. Job Responsibilities Safely operate a telescopic handler (telehandler) to transport, lift, and position construction materials throughout the jobsite. Operate forklifts to load, unload, stage, and distribute materials efficiently. Assist with crane operations , including moving, rigging, spotting, and safely positioning loads as directed. Inspect equipment daily and perform pre- and post-operation safety checks. Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are properly secured and handled. Transport oversized and heavy materials to work areas while maintaining site safety. Communicate effectively with crane operators, riggers, and ground personnel using standard hand signals and radio communication. Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific procedures. Maintain organized laydown yards and material staging areas. Assist with general labor duties as needed to support the construction team. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating telescopic handlers on commercial or industrial construction projects. Previous forklift operating experience required. Experience working around or assisting with crane operations required. Ability to safely lift and transport heavy materials. Knowledge of load charts, equipment limitations, and safe operating procedures. Comfortable working night shifts (5 AM-5 PM) . Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work overtime. Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
