Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery and heavy equipment to support building projects, and site preparation. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities Operate construction machinery including loaders, backhoes, excavators, and skid steers, and concrete mixers with precision and safety awareness. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Handle materials effectively using material handling equipment while following safety procedures for loading, unloading, and transporting materials on-site. Maintain compliance with occupational safety regulations by using personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhering to all safety protocols during equipment operation. Assist with site preparation activities by operating heavy machinery to facilitate construction workflows. Follow all site-specific safety procedures related to hydraulics, heavy equipment operation, and general construction practices. Qualifications Proven experience operating construction site equipment. Valid commercial driver's license. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on heavy machinery. Familiarity with hydraulics systems, hand tools, and construction machinery maintenance procedures. Knowledge of occupational safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site safety standards. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely while following all safety procedures. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance and efficient equipment use is highly preferred.
